Curbside garbage pick-up in provided to our community through GFL and is commonly referred to as the grey bin.  Pickup is on a weekly basis every Wednesday.  You must have your bin to the curb by 7am the day of pickup.

All garbage being deposited in the bin, including grass clippings, garden refuse and leaves, MUST BE BAGGED.  Due to a fully automated system, bags left outside the containers will not be picked up.

What does curbside refuse cost?

The cost for the grey garbage bin is $110 per year or $60 per month.  You are welcome to share with a neighbor if they are interested.   If you container is removed due to overdue payment, there will be an additional charge of $25 to have the container returned.

How do I get a container?

Simply fill out this form and submit it to the Town Office along with payment for the container.  We do accept e-transfer to info@carnduff.ca

Residential Garbage Pickup Application

The Town of Carnduff has a Transfer Station, commonly referred to as the landfill or dump, by locals.  It is located just south of town on the Super Grid road.

Summer Hours (Effective April 1st to October 31st

Winter Hours (Effective November 1st to March 31st)

  • slaughter house wastes, dead animals or other comparable waste
