The Carnduff Education Complex opened its doors in September 2004.  This facility is the result of the cooperative efforts of the government, school division, local community and surrounding municipalities.  Due to the overwhelming local support and involvement, the gymnasium was expanded and the Regional Public Library was integrated with the school Resource Centre.  CEC hosts the first fully integrated Southeast Regional Library in Saskatchewan and has proved a success with an influx in circulation numbers, more accessibility to resources for students and teachers and more accessibility to the public with extended hours of operation.

Carnduff Education Complex is the educational centre for a large surrounding area including students from Gainsborough, Storthoaks, Alida and Glen Ewen.  Carievale Elementary School is a feeder school where students attend CEC upon entering their high school education.  Currently the enrolment of Carnduff Education Complex is around 320 students.

As you enter our school, you will pass the Administration Offices, staff room and an open commons area leading to two wings.  In this central, core area, you will find the entrance to our expanded gymnasium with floor space to accommodate two full volleyball courts, as well as washrooms and change rooms for our students and athletes.  The Southeast Regional Library  and Counseling Rooms are also located in this area.

The junior high and high school wing includes rooms for regular classroom instruction as well as specialized areas.  The Practical and Applied Arts room is wide open and combines with our canteen to provide food services as well as instruction in food preparation and various arts.  The wing also includes two science labs, a computer lab and smaller tutorial or conference room.

The elementary wing includes regular classrooms as well as specialized rooms for Pre-K, Kindergarten and Special Education/Resource Rooms.  The wing has its own washroom facilities and features labs for computers and arts education.
