Dear Diary Series
In 2015 our community celebrated 110 years of being an incorporated municipality. For the celebration, local resident and history buff Brian Cowie composed a "Dear Diary" series. This series was a first person view of our community, first being settled and throughout the years to present day. Below you can find the Four Part Series.
Enjoy!
A Walk to Remember
A Walk to Remember is a project started in 2015. History is an important part of who we are today. Without knowing where we came from we can't fully appreacite our present. We have tried to embrace as much history as we know and document it for years to come. Plaques have been created for a number of places in town that give credit to the history of its location throughout the years. Take a look below for copies of the history of each location!
