I have lived in Carnduff for most of my life and have always been proud to call it home. I served the last twelve years on Town Council with the last six as Deputy Mayor. When the Mayor's chair became open this past October, I felt, with my past experiences gained while participating on the Council, provided me with the capabilities necessary to effectively fill the position of Mayor for the Town of Carnduff.
I have served at the pleasure of the people of Carnduff on many facility boards and committees and have always been proud of all the community has to offer. Whether it is the new residential lots, the vibrant business district or the fantastic recreation facilities.
I'm married to Linda and we have two daughters, Rachelle and Kiana. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family and doing woodworking projects in my shop.

I grew up on the family farm near Oakshella and my wife, Susan, comes from Broadview. We have two daughters, Kendra and Breanne. We moved to Oxbow in 1982 after we were married, to take over as Manager at the Paterson Grain Elevator. In 1983 they closed down the Oxbow plant and I drove to work until we moved to Carnduff in 1989. When we lived in Oxbow, I was a member of the local school board and the Lion's. Since moving to Carnduff I have sat as team president for the Red Devils Senior Hockey team for 3 years and the Carnduff Housing Authority for 9 years until I ran for Town Council in 2005. Carnduff is a great community and a wonderful place to raise a family. This is where we call home. Someday I would like to see a museum started here because even though we always need to move forward, we should not forget our past. I have since taken over as manager for Paterson in Carievale but continue to live in Carnduff.

I was born and raised in Carnduff and have always been proud to call Carnduff home. After attending the University of Regina, I have been employed with a family business (Swayze Concrete Ltd.) for over 30 years. Raising our family in Carnduff has given me the opportunity to be involved with several organizations both locally and provincially. My involvement in the School Division board culminated with the opening of the Carnduff Education Complex in 2004.
Growing up, my father was a Town Councilor for many years. This gave me the opportunity to watch and learn the importance of involvement in your community. I am now serving my second term on Town Council and continue to be involved in many aspects of our community. I look forward to continuing to work together with council and residents for the betterment of our community.
